Hej hej,

I’m Jonathan Hsu — but you can call me Jon.

My creative path started in Miami, took me west, far east, and up north, before landing in New York City. Now, I’m based in Portland, bringing a bit of every place I’ve lived into the work I do.

I’m a multidisciplinary designer and art director who’s worked with teams around the world — from BBH Mumbai and Saatchi Stockholm to Grey, VMLY&R, and Havas in New York. Along the way, I honed my conceptual thinking, built a strong digital foundation, and learned how to turn creative ideas into meaningful, results-driven experiences.

Most recently, I helped lead creative at Tillamook, where I worked across brand campaigns and 360 initiatives that pushed the brand’s storytelling and visual identity forward.

Before that, I partnered with startups in fashion, fitness, and lifestyle, helping shape their brands, build creative teams, and drive growth through thoughtful design and storytelling.

At my core, I’m a storyteller, an explorer, and a group fitness fanatic. I love solving problems creatively — and I’ll always find the right soundtrack to go with it.
